The Beginning

ScissorTail grew out of frustration. We saw too many families in Central Oklahoma getting treated like transactions instead of neighbors. Roofing is personal—it protects what matters most. So we built a different kind of company. Family-owned. Local roots. The kind of place where your home matters because you matter.

What started with residential roofing in Norman has evolved into something bigger. We've expanded into commercial work—TPO, metal roof restoration, acrylic coatings—because the metro needed contractors who understand both sides of the business. And we've grown into full-service construction and remodeling, handling everything from storm restoration to complete commercial buildouts. But the core hasn't changed: we show up to do work that stands up.
